Lisbon hosts Web Summit and myPOS Team will be attending

Web Summit is an international technology conference, founded in 2009 and organized in Dublin for the first 5 years. This year, it will take place in MEO Arena in Lisbon, Portugal. The event is considered to be one of the largest in Europe, of its nature. Representatives of big companies from all over the world, join Web Summit to meet up and talk about the future of the global technology industry. The conference continues three days, from the 7th to the 10th of November, and more than 50,000 people are signed up for attendance. 663 speakers will participate, with different areas of expertise, life and work experience.

This is yet another great opportunity for our Sales team, to introduce myPOS to а large audience and familiarize them with important benefits of the platform. The spotlight will be on the mobile POS card readers, offered by myPOS, which enable business owners to accept card payments regardless of their location. The devices are compact and with user-friendly interface, designed to be used by the SMEs and help them easily integrate cashless payments.

Another highlight is the newest addition to the myPOS solution, called Payment Request. Its purpose is to allow merchants to accept payments from a distance and is a good fit for businesses, which require reservations, payments in advance or offer all sorts of prepaid services. Using communication channels such as email, SMS or chat, merchants can send payment link to their customers and get paid instantly, without even having a website or an online shop. Payment Request is a convenient and secure payment method for both the merchant and the customer.
